I would like to apologize for my absence over the last
few months, we are busy building a house in the bundu (google it).
This will probably take till the end of the year so I will be removing the
For Sale pages as I have no internet access on the farm
and doubt whether I will have in before the end of the year.

This website was originally about our collection of classic cars in South Africa, mostly Fords, but has now expanded to include most older South African cars with information, brochures, adverts, photos, articles, timelines and a classified section. I am also working on getting as much information as I can about the Australian Fords that were exported to South Africa [in CKD form] in the late 60s / early 70s. Below are links to the main pages, and to the right, thumbnail links to our collection of 'classic' cars, a loosely defined term which could also refer to rusted and falling apart, over the last years many of these cars have found new owners who will hopefully restore them to their former glory, the ones left are waiting patiently for us start the restoration process, apart from the 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 which is actually running. There are approximately 8000 photos on the photos pages, including car photos (divided into manufacturer), motorbike photos, racing photos and car show and rally photos. |
